Rosanna Ferro earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Classical Composition from Berklee College of Music. While at Berklee, she focused her studies on conducting, arranging, music theory and film scoring with a concentration on classical and jazz piano. Rosanna was accepted into the prestigious BMI Musical Theatre Workshop in Manhattan where she composed for musical theatre. Her shows have been performed at off-Broadway theatres in Manhattan including The Duplex, Stage 53 and The Triad. She has also performed as a singer-songwriter at Michiko Studios in Times Square, the Lenox in Boston, MA and venues all over New England. She’s been the music director for City Lights, the ActorSingers Theatre Company and the Berklee Theatre Club.
Rosanna has been teaching piano and voice to children and adults for over 20 years. She strives to help her students find their musical voice and develop a passion for playing. She is disciplined while at the same time caring, positive, patient and friendly. Rosanna is a versatile pianist that enjoys teaching classical, jazz, pop and classic rock in addition to theory and songwriting. Her voice lessons are a safe place for singers to explore all that their voice can be. She believes in making learning fun!
