Mina ŠukovićMina Šuković is an award-winning flutist and musicologist based in New York. Originally from Belgrade, Serbia, she recently earned her master’s degree from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, where she studied with the esteemed flutist Judith Mendenhall. As a soloist, Mina performed Jacques Ibert’s Flute Concerto with the Queens College Orchestra after winning the Concerto Competition. She has performed at prestigious venues including LeFrak Concert Hall, DiMenna Center, and Alice Tully Hall, as well as other performance spaces.
Mina holds a bachelor’s degree in classical music performance from the University of Arts in Banja Luka where she studied with professor Sonja Miletić and both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Musicology from the University of Belgrade in Serbia.
Mina is passionate about teaching and creates a supportive and creative learning environment, which has been key to her success as an educator. She loves helping students reach their full potential and discover the joy of making music.
