Dr. Vesy Kirova enjoys an active performing career as a soloist, collaborative artist and chamber music performer.
Dr. Kirova has been teaching piano in NYC for 10 years, all ages and levels, both children and adults, beginner to advanced.
Devoted piano teacher and accompanist, she has served as faculty at Brooklyn College Preparatory Center for the Arts, “Encore” Music Lessons and Lucy Moses Music School in Manhattan. Since 2013 Dr. Kirova works as a piano teacher and accompanist at the “Art of Piano Playing” Music School and Winston Preparatory School.
Dr. Kirova holds a Bachelor and a Master of Music degrees in Piano Performance from the Bulgarian Music Academy in Sofia, Master of Music degree from the University of South Florida and Doctor of Musical Arts Degree in Piano Performance from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.She holds a membership in Pi Kappa Lambda, the National Music Honors Society in the United States.
Living in the multi-cultural setting of NYC, she is an experienced pedagogue, as well as good psychologist, which not only helps her tremendously in the teaching process, but also to develop warm and long lasting relationships, both with the students and their parents.
For her achievements as a pianist and scholar in 2002 Dr. Kirova was awarded a membership in the Pi Kappa Lambda, the National Music Honors Society in the United States.
Her outstanding accompanist skills led her to be affiliated for many years as a rehearsal pianist at the American Classical Orchestra, New York’s premiere period instrument orchestra.
