Camron Hare is a pianist, teacher, composer and accompanist from Seattle, Washington. He began taking piano lessons at age 7 and by high school, he was competing in local and state piano competitions. He has over 5 years experience teaching piano.
Camron received his bachelor of arts degree in music, with a piano performance emphasis, from Seattle Pacific University. He studied under Dr. Robert Swan and Dr. Wayne Johnson. He is the recipient of the Bertha Gilbertson Piano Scholarship while at Seattle Pacific. He has won multiple awards throughout his career. Such as, Washington State Music Teachers Association honors recitalist. Central Washington University Sonata Festival, honorable mention. Spokane Allied Arts Music Festival, received superior ratings in the piano division.
He has also written a piano driven film score for an independent film studio in Paris, France, and provided accompaniment to students of the musical theatre department at PACE University.
He is a private piano teacher students of all ages and abilities in Queens, Brooklyn and Manhattan. Currently he is under the instruction of Kayoung An, at Manhattan School of Music. Besides his dedication to the craft of piano, he has developed a teaching philosophy that nurtures the creativity in his students.
