Most parents introduce their children to many different activities in NYC that will teach them new skills and make them happy. Music lessons are a common choice – but how long does it take a child to truly learn to play a musical instrument?

Whether you choose to purchase an upright or a grand piano, it’s important to understand the difference between purchasing a new piano, a used piano, or a refurbished piano.

Getting to a point of being able to play a musical piece well is not a short journey. It takes determination, it takes practice, and – most importantly – it takes music lessons. But can they be fun?
