About Riverside Music Studios

Riverside Music Studios is a music school in New York City, offering private lessons in piano, guitar, voice, drums, flute, and violin.

We have been helping students of all ages learn music since 2010. Thousands of children and adults have trusted our excellent music teachers to help them begin or continue their musical journey.

Our Philosophy

We believe that every student learns differently; our music teachers create personalized lesson plans. Many music school programs follow a one-size-fits-all curriculum. Our students enjoy instruction based on their goals, interests, age, and learning style.

We help students attain their goals while keeping lessons engaging and enjoyable. It doesn’t matter if the goal is to perform on stage, prepare for exams, or simply enjoy making music.

• Our faculty of music teachers is selected from the best candidates based on education and teaching experience. We are not a referral service with no selection process for the instructors.

How did Riverside Music Studios start?

Riverside Music Studios was founded in 2002 by Dr. Dmitry Alexeev, a concert pianist and a prolific educator. We grew from a small, private neighborhood studio offering piano lessons in NYC on the Upper West Side – to a full music school with two locations – on 55th and Broadway in Midtown, and on 160 Broadway in FiDi/BPC. We are proud to have a faculty of some of the best performers & music teachers in Manhattan.
